How Do Credits Work?
Credits make billing simple, predictable, and transparent.
They let you control how much testing activity you run inside your connected store without guessing what you will be charged.
What Are Credits?
Credits are digital units used to generate test orders for QA, validation, and internal workflow testing.
1 credit equals $1.00 in test order value.
Example:
If a test order is created with a $42.50 total, it uses 42.50 credits.
What Does “Test Order Value” Mean?
By default, credits are calculated using the order total.
That means credits are based on:
total cart
This keeps credit usage consistent and easy to predict.
When Are Credits Deducted?
Credits are deducted only after a test order is successfully created.
If the test order fails for any reason, no credits are deducted.
How Do I Get Credits?
You can receive credits in three ways:
1) Free Monthly Credits
If you are on the Free Starter Plan, you receive 250 free credits every month.
These credits are added automatically on a monthly schedule.
2) Monthly Credit Plans
Monthly plans add a fixed amount of credits to your account every billing cycle.
This is the easiest option for ongoing testing needs because credits renew automatically.
3) One Time Credit Top Ups
One time purchases add credits immediately.
Use top ups when you want extra testing capacity without starting a subscription.
What Happens If I Run Out of Credits?
If your credit balance is too low to create the next test order:
the platform will pause test order generation
your schedule will not continue until you add more credits or your plan renews
This prevents unexpected charges and keeps usage controlled.
Can Credits Go Negative?
No. Your credit balance can never drop below zero.
If you do not have enough credits for the next test order, it simply will not run.
Do Credits Expire?
Purchased credits expire after 60 days.
Free monthly credits and monthly plan credits follow the rollover rules shown in your dashboard.
If rollover is enabled, unused credits may carry forward up to the plan’s rollover limit.
How Can I Control Credit Usage?
Inside your dashboard, you can set limits such as:
minimum test order value
maximum test order value
test order frequency (manual, daily, weekly, custom schedule)
optional monthly usage caps
This gives you full control over how quickly credits are used.
Examples
Example A: Small Testing Run
You have 500 credits.
You generate 5 test orders with $25 totals.
Credit usage:
25 credits x 5 orders = 125 credits used
Remaining balance:
500 minus 125 = 375 credits
Example B: Larger Testing Run
You add a 2,500 credit top up.
You generate a $150 test order.
Credit usage:
150 credits used
Remaining balance:
2,500 minus 150 = 2,350 credits
Transparency and Tracking
You can always see:
your current credit balance
credits added by free monthly grants, subscriptions, or top ups
credits used by each generated test order
your full credit history
Ready to Start?
If you want to try it first, start with the Free Starter Plan.
If you need consistent testing volume, choose a Monthly Credit Plan.
If you only need credits occasionally, a One Time Credit Top Up is the simplest option.
